Leigh is a Managing Partner and Wedding Planner at Albert Events, providing wedding and event planning services to the Central Florida area. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Business & Accounting from Florida Southern College and working in the corporate field for 15 years, Leigh decided that she wanted to combine her business skills with her creativity and passion for special events. As a wedding and event coordinator, she is dedicated to exceeding the client’s expectations with her ability to coordinate all aspects of an event with a sense of effortlessness and professionalism. Leigh strives to introduce to the client only the most talented and reliable vendors, while, at the same time, keeping within the predetermined budget. Her ability to troubleshoot and problem solve keeps the coordination balanced and continuously flowing throughout the event planning process. Most importantly, Leigh’s attentiveness allows her to develop personal relationships with each client, which is imperative in recognizing their dreams and transforming them to into something extraordinary.
Melissa is a Managing Partner and Wedding Planner at Albert Events. Melissa wears many fashionable hats in the company. In addition to running the business and planning fabulous weddings and events, she is also our “Fasion Guru”. Melissa is a bride’s best friend, advising on the appropriate bridal hair, makeup, gown, bridesmaid and groomsmen attire and accessories for any style of wedding. Melissa’s extensive background in fashion and style began as a runway model at age 18 through the age of 25. At the age of 19 she was a contestant in the Miss Florida USA pageant. Her print modeling continued until she discovered her true passion, wedding fashion. Melissa has since been involved in all aspects of wedding fashion, style and décor. Needless to say, keeping up with the latest styles in wedding fashion is a no-brainer for her.
Michelle is our Assistant Wedding Planner at Albert Events. Her passion for wedding planning started at a young age. She loves every exciting aspect of the planning process, assisting with the venue, caterers, flowers, décor and design. She is a complete organizational genius who keeps every staff member on their toes and pointed in the right direction. Michelle is also an extremely creative freelance photographer with a unique and whimsical style which is perfect for couples who want beautifully romantic engagement or wedding photos at a price that fits almost any budget.
Debby is our Assistant Event Planner at Albert Events. She is up for anything; we can always count on her to volunteer for day of services. Her social background has also dubbed her our “etiquette expert.” From table placement to invitation wording, her constant research keeps us up on the latest trends while respectfully honoring age old traditions. You can bet, if there is a typo, she will catch it. Debby has always been in the business of helping people; she is currently working on her LPN Degree. Able to successfully juggle school, her career, and a family, Debby is a big believer in stress relief and knows just what to do or say to put the staff at ease during crunch time.
Charles is a planning assistant at Albert Events. As a U.S. Navy Recruit, Charles is in the process of training for the Navy Seals. When he isn’t running errands or at the staff’s beck and call, he enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and “hanging with friends.” In the meantime he is responsible for many of the “behind the scenes” actions such as, coordination, setup, cleanup, delivery, pickup, most of the heavy lifting, and many other tedious, but very important duties. Charles is very pleasant, professional, clean-cut, and whether you are a client, a vendor or a staff member, he is happy to assist anyone with just about anything, which makes him one of our most important assets.
